Food Allergies & Dietaries

We take food safety seriously and make every effort to manage allergens with care. While we strive to minimise the risk of cross-contamination, please be aware that trace amounts of allergens may still be present due to factors beyond our control. If you have a food allergy, we encourage you to inform our team so we can take appropriate precautions. 

Halal

Our beef, veal and duck are Halal-certified however our chicken is not.

The burger patty at Café Margaret is Halal-certified however the bacon included in the dish is not. The burger can be ordered without bacon should you wish.

As we prepare a variety of products in our kitchens, we cannot guarantee a fully Halal preparation environment. 

Please note that our kitchens are not Halal-certified.

Dining with Children and High Chairs

Children of all ages are welcome to dine with us under the careful supervision of their parent, guardian or carer.

For the comfort and safety of all our guests, everyone, including children, is required to be seated in their own chair.

We offer a range of children’s meal options, which vary depending on the venue.

Kindly note that we do not provide high chairs or booster seats. However, we will always do our best to accommodate pram space where possible, and you are very welcome to bring your own booster seat.

Wheelchair & Low Mobility Access

Access is available via the Bay Street entrance, and there’s a wheelchair-friendly bathroom on site. If there’s anything we can do to make your visit more comfortable, just let us know - we’re always happy to help.

Parking

We do not have onsite parking, however there are many options available around Double Bay.

Public Street Parking
With 2 to 3 hour duration, some free areas on Sundays. Parking inspectors are vigilant!

Pay Parking Stations
The Intercontinental Double Bay – Valet Car Parking - $80 per car per day OR Wilson Parking - 33 Cross Street 

Nationwide Parking – 1 to 13 Cross Street
Kiaora Place - 1 Kiaora Lane

Dogs

You are very welcome to bring your dog along when dining with us in our outdoor area. We are always happy to have your furry friend join you for the experience! 

BYO - Food and Beverage

Please note, our venues do not permit outside beverages or food, excluding cakes, to be brought into the restaurant.

You are welcome to bring a celebratory cake. Please ensure you include storage instructions and reservation name. We charge $5.50 cakeage per person.

Group Dining

For larger groups, we kindly ask that you dine from one of our set menus:

  • Margaret: Groups of 10 or more
  • Gran Torino: Groups of 10 or more
  • Pizzeria Sotto: Groups of 9 or more
  • Café Margaret: Groups of 8 or more

Our set menus are designed to be shared amongst the table and offer a selection of dishes for your group to enjoy together.

Decorations

We kindly ask that no decorations be brought into our venues. This includes balloons, confetti, glitter, or any items that need to be attached to or placed against our walls or surfaces.

Gift Cards

Gift Cards can be purchased online via our website as an online voucher in PDF format, or as a physical card at our restaurants. All vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.

Sunday Surcharge

Should your reservation fall on a Sunday, a surcharge of 10% will apply to food and beverage prices.

Service Charge

A discretionary 10% service charge is applied to all tables of 8 or more guests as a gratuity paid directly to our staff. Not applicable on Sunday's and Public Holidays.

Credit Card Surcharge

All credit and debit cards incur a surcharge at the rate of your provider.

Accepted Payment Methods

We are pleased to accept payment by debit, credit card, and cash.

Public Holiday Surcharge

Should your reservation date fall on a public holiday, a surcharge of 15% will apply to all food and beverage prices.
