Margaret is named after Neil Perry’s late mother who was the matriarch of the family, the nurturer and carer, and the one who held everyone together. These wonderful qualities became the inspiration behind the CARE philosophy that Neil created; caring for our suppliers, each other, the community and environment, which he has applied throughout his entire career as a chef and restaurateur. Situated in Sydney’s Double Bay, Margaret is, at its heart, a neighbourhood restaurant where people come together to experience the best produce sourced in Australia. Above all, Margaret is where the best ingredients, the best wines and drinks program and craft come together in a unique and lovely experience for our guests. A focus on Australia’s amazing seafood is central to Neil’s cuisine and takes pride of place in our menu.
